Canon Bruce Glencross: Born and raised and in the Montreal area (pas pure laine mais...!) felt a call from God to the ordained Ministry at 18. He was educated, like former Premier Jacques Parizeau, here in the province and in England. Bruce took his time answering the LORD's call, not quite like Job, working in such spots as Ottawa doing the 'Changing of the Guard', in between Egypt and Israel as a UN Peackeeper, and on a North Sea oceanagraphic  survey ship, before being made a Deacon at age 28. He was assigned his first solo parish in the inner city in Point St Charles on his 30th birthday. Nine years later he went to St John the Baptist in suburban Pointe Claire, where he has been ever since. He has been a supporter of Crosstalk Ministries over the years and been involved with Junior Camp, Focus, and Tuesday Fellowship. His Parish has been a 'training week' parish for Daycamps these past four years. Bruce is happily married to Carol Parker.
