General Information

Cost:

The cost of the weekend is $99.00, or 3 easy payments of $33.00 before July 1st. After July 1st the cost will be increased to $120. To guarantee a spot at FOCUS, a deposit must accompany your signed and completed registration form. Send the whole amount with the form, or send a deposit of $20.00. The remainder will be payable at FOCUS. There will be a $15.00 charge for "bounced cheques". Please make cheques payable to Crosstalk Ministries.

Refunds:

Refunds (less a 15$ cancellation fee) are made only if notification is given 2 full weeks prior to the first day of camp, August 12th (these rules do not apply to late registrations).

Bursaries:

In case of financial need, some bursaries are available. Please approach your parish for assistance first; then, if further funds are required, please enclose with your registration a letter from your minister confirming your need, the amount required, and the amount of parish assistance given. Parishes are expected to contribute at least one half of the assistance required.

Travel:

Campers and their families must arrange their own travel. Participants are encouraged to carpool.

Directions:

Take the Champlain Bridge, then keep straight on Autoroute 10, (Eastern Townships Autoroute) to exit 118 to Magog. At the T at end of the ramp turn right and proceed into Magog, along Merry Nord. After several sets of lights at the major intersection with Principale (gas station on right) get in centre lane go straight on (you will be on Route 247, Merry Sud). Start your odometer at the flashing yellow light outside of the McDonalds and keep to the right in the direction of Georgeville.

1 km There will be a stop sign, keep straight on

13 km You will see a cemetery on your right, keep straight on

13.2 km Look for the Focus and Cedar Lodge sign on the right, turn right down the drive, park on the green space and walk down to the buildings.

If you arrive in Georgeville you have gone too far!
